The training consists of theory lectures, practical training sessions and a scenario based on real emergency response experience, it is designed to make future ERU WASH delegates ready for international M40 deployments.

All elements of the course will be

• coordinated with IFRC to include lessons learned from past deployments,
• in cooperation with other ERU M40 holding National Societies,
• in accordance with Hygiene Promotion in Emergency guidelines, and
• the guiding principles of the PGI, CEA and Green Response in Emergency Settings.

Special emphasis will be placed on the integration of WASH RRPs.

All timings are an indication, the different modules are held by one or several trainers.
